DNO Improvement Plan 2023-2024

 

DCSD is excited to announce our free public 6-8 online school for families with a desire to stay enrolled in Douglas County schools and engage with the community, but want the opportunity for students receive full virtual learning.

Douglas Nevada Online utilizes the Edgenuity distance learning platform as the online curriculum for all courses.  Edgenuity courses provide age-appropriate, standards-based, engaging lessons with access to tools that support learning, including text to speech, audio and translation, text and picture dictionaries, and more.

The 2023-2024 school year will start on Monday, August 21st.  If you are interested in enrolling at Douglas Nevada Online, please contact gward@dcsd.k12.nv.us. 

Each Douglas Nevada Online student will have access to a DCSD certified teacher for questions and support.  Students enrolled in Douglas Nevada Online will be able to work at their own pace and schedule. Edgenuity is parent friendly with easy accessibility for parents to view student progress.
